Beyond the Divide: Effective Use of Artificial Intelligence for Equitable English Language Teaching
The Goal of BRIDGE ELT
This project aims to design equitable professional development for ELT teachers, equipping them to create effective, AI-integrated learning experiences that include and support all students.
MOOC Development
We will design and develop MOOC for professional development to enhance English language teachers' AI literacy and
pedagogical skills, and to increase awareness about equitable and effective use of AI in English language teaching among teachers, policy
makers, and broader educational community.
AI Integration
BRIDGE ELT project will integrate
AI into the teacher training MOOC to create richer and more authentic learning experiences for teachers.
Teachers will experience the use of AI in learning and teaching firsthand through AI-assisted assessment, discussions and interactive tutoring during the MOOC.
